I finally got a copy of this legendary pressing, i had the deluxe boxset and hated the sound, but on this one, everything is well defined, very bright too, maybe lacks a little bit of bass but my god cliff's parts here.

Metallica’s debut album, Ride The Lightning (1984), will be pressed on 180g ‘Electric Blue’ limited edition coloured vinyl lp, featuring the 2016 remastered audio. Ride the Lightning is an ambitious metal album that tries to do a little too much, and I honestly think Metallica lost their way with this one.

The set starts out with two tunes that would have been right at home on Kill 'em All, but the next two are slower and more involved. The 1984 second album from these rifftastic pioneers, Ride The Lightning, is as ferocious as anything they ever recorded, and is now available again on vinyl, fully remastered. He sounds terrible, and there is not a single song on this album where he sounds anything above a poor imitation of Halford. The riffs and arrangements are moreintricate, the lyrics are more intelligent and biting and James Hetfield's growl is meaner. Metallica promoted the album on the Bang That Head That Doesn't Bang European tour in late 1984, and on its North American leg in the first half of 1985.
