About this deal

At this point I'm just ready for the wait to be over because I feel like people's expectations and standards have gotten way too high, and I think the issues we have with what we've seen and heard will seem a lot smaller when we're actually able to experience the whole thing for ourselves. It's a nice office for the Chancellor, but there's also some play features scattered throughout it to help reenact the duel that took place there in Episode 3. There are quite a few highly desirable parts in this set, including many dark red pieces; this is a fairly uncommon colour and a very attractive one. His torso is printed with a dark red shirt featuring a belt and on top of that is a dark grey cross pattern which is just like what is seen on this character in the film.

He is similar to the figure included in set 9494, Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor, but does have one or two differences. Palpatine’s Arrest was a set which I was very excited about prior to the release of images, due to the incredible scene from the movie, and also the fantastic characters who might feature in such a set. His torso is exactly the same however with some highly detailed printing including his black Jedi robes, brown under-shirt, and brown belt with several pouches and a silver buckle. But I like to do it the simple way, with the landing pad and the doors attached to each other and then attached to the middle segment of the office. The torso and hair is the same as the Anakin from his Jedi Interceptor that came out back in January, but the head is the new part.Brickset, the Brickset logo and all content not covered by The LEGO Group's copyright is, unless otherwise stated, ©1997-2024 Brickset ltd.

I think this is starting to become more common, too, as they've used grey microfigures to represent rock statues in the Lord of the Rings sets. Some LEGO® sets contain small parts that are NOT suitable for and may pose a hazard to children under 3 years of age. He also has a dark red jacket on which has some tiny grey wavy lines printed on it, which are continued on the back of the torso and are also accurate to the film. This fantastic recreation of the scene from Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith features detachable entrance with sliding doors, hidden Lightsaber, Sith lightning bolts, Mace Windu window catapult, Force jump lever, and detachable landing pad with Jedi airspeeder with opening cockpit and dual flick missiles. Both look excellent, but I much prefer the second of the two as that one is more suited to him in this scene by far. This is the first Chancellor Palpatine figure from the live-action films which has been released and he is excellent. Uniquely among these six Minifigures, this is the first time an Agen Kolar Minifigure has been produced and will probably be the last unless they make another version of this scene in years to come.
