About this deal

This is the correct listing: http Hello, there are currently 2 listings for my book, 1 under my name and 1 under another author with the same pen name. I am so happy that Pippa got the happy ending she deserved and that was her true revenge against him. Especially since my attempt to read Icebreaker ended in a wholehearted and rare-for-me DNF moment — woof. Jamie’s issues with his mum felt so real and I appreciated the trigger warnings at the beginning of the book. The romance and initial attraction is there from the first page, but the actual romance takes a while to develop.

i’m also really looking forward to the second book in this series, because i already know that bantering is gonna be great and i love the characters. Between wearing his jersey at games, fun, rowdy parties with the team, and being brave on stage again, I’m falling for him. Goodreads Librarians are volunteers who help ensure the accuracy of information about books and authors in the Goodreads' catalog. When Pippa becomes the assistant to her high-school crush, grumpy NHL goalie Jamie Streicher, she's fresh from a toxic relationship.I’ve really enjoyed Stephanie Archer’s books in the past, and overall I liked this one, though it wasn’t always easy. His characteristic mental strength, positive visualization, and self-belief comes from his career and he instills that confidence into Pippa. A third is to come, but for now I’ll share my thoughts on whether or not this series is worth skating into. The characters were cute together and I enjoyed the romantic portions, especially toward the end, it was just a bit too instalust for me. Same soft, musical voice that I’d strain to hear back in high school while she was talking and laughing with the other band kids.

I loved hockey romances and I loved the chance to read a hockey romance by one of my favourite authors! In this grumpy-sunshine set-up, professional star hockey goalie Jamie (infinitely grouchy, rude, in desperate need of therapy) inadvertently hires Pippa, his old high school crush (a happy-go-lucky musician with a confidence problem) as his live-in assistant in Vancouver. PS3: I need a book about the situation between coach Ward, Jordan and Chris, pls give it to us, thankyou! looking for a quick and easy (and dirty, jesus) entry into the hockey romance craze, Behind the Net isn’t a bad way to spend an afternoon.Pippa and Jamie’s story instantly grabs you, and with an entertaining background cast of team mates and friends I cannot wait to read more from this series in the future. I adored Jamie, he was such an amazing support to Pippa to make sure she begins to believe in herself again. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

i honestly think it’s time for me to get back into my hockey romance era, because i’ve missed these vibes so much. Said tension leads to lots of unspoken feelings, cute dogs, bad ex-boyfriends, and a scene involving a sex toy that will have you needing a cold shower. Pippa and Jamie are perfect characters and I love how the two of them communicate and seem to feed off of each other. Authors, if you are a member of the Goodreads Author Program, you can edit information about your own books. the characters were likeable and cute together, but it wasn’t any of those characters you’ll remember for the rest of your life, but that’s good too sometimes, they can’t all be nesta archeron's and dante maroni’s.

stephanie archer’s writing is so character-driven and she did such a good job at balancing spice, humor, and the hockey world.Pippa has spent her years since finishing school touring with her high school sweetheart Zach and his band, but after she is dumped at the airport and given a plane ticket home, she finds herself broke and lonely, forced to crash with her sister. there were so many times where i had to read over some of the scenes because i couldn’t believe my eyes.
