About this deal

I haven't charted out my visits for the summer term, but I'm sure there are several in the south) and thanks so much for being so fantastic! There is lots of action and some nail-biting, tech-inspired plot twists, and the book is divided into short, easy-to-absorb chunks for young readers. Ajay held up the faluda-pink paper in triumph (although sadly, no one else seemed to have noticed his amazing feat of skill and dexterity). They need a big story - and when a meteor crashes to Earth, and there's a competition to find it, Ajay and his friends find themselves in a space race to Jaipur!

Ajay’s determined to uncover the truth, but in so doing might unravel a plot that goes right to the top! It's a great adventure with a cast of lovely characters and I enjoyed it just as much or even more than the first one! It's laugh out loud funny and yet touching in just the right way, a roller coaster that leaves you feeling satisfied. There is also much to be discussed in class, for instance, the language used when talking about colonising the moon, plus altruism, capitalism and Doing the Right Thing. When street kid, Ajay, uncovers a scandal that threatens to evict thousands of the poorest people of Mumbai from their homes, he knows he has an important story to tell. They need a big story – and when a meteor crashes to Earth, and there’s a competition to find it, Ajay and his friends find themselves in a space race to Jaipur! I'm sure she will be reading it over and over again, maybe she'll let me read it with her next time! It’s a fantastic independent book seller that will actually be responsive and select appropriate books for you. Bookwagon welcomes, Ajay and the Jaipur Moon to our readers, a welcome companion piece to Ajay and the Mumbai Sun.It seems the printing press upon which he prepares Ajay’s news is time consuming, elderly and on its last legs. I love the optimism and pluck of Ajay and his band of friends and their refusal to let anything stand in their way. Raises a number of different ethical and current issues in a way that was thought provoking but not heavy handed.

It was such a pleasure to meet you both, and I really appreciated how smoothly and professionally you ran everything.Finding an abandoned printing press, he and his friends Saif, Vinod, Yasmin and Jai create their own newspaper: The Mumbai Sun. After studying Law at Cambridge University, she worked for several years as a solicitor and has written articles for publications including Legal Week, Legal Week Global, The Times Education Supplement, and the on-line edition of Harper's Bazaar. Bronnie is so lovely with the boys and we also felt that having a man enthusing about the books set a great example.
